Size Guide

Ring sizes, chain lengths, and bracelet sizes, with two reliable ways to measure at home. The exact measurements for each piece are on its own product page. This page is the general guide.

Ring sizes

All our ring sizes are Australian sizes. Measure your finger or a ring you already own, then read the size off the table.

I 15.7 mm 49.3 mm
J 16.1 mm 50.6 mm
K 16.5 mm 51.9 mm
L 16.9 mm 53.1 mm
M 17.3 mm 54.4 mm
N 17.7 mm 55.7 mm
O 18.1 mm 57.0 mm
P 18.5 mm 58.3 mm
Q 18.9 mm 59.5 mm
R 19.4 mm 60.8 mm
S 19.8 mm 62.1 mm
T 20.2 mm 63.4 mm

V 21.0 mm 65.9 mm
W 21.4 mm 67.2 mm

How to measure your ring size

Method 1: measure a ring you already wear. Take a ring that fits the finger you have in mind and measure the inside diameter across the widest point with a ruler, in millimetres. Match it to the diameter column above.

Method 2: measure your finger. Wrap a strip of paper or a piece of string around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, lay it flat, and measure the length in millimetres. That is your circumference. Match it to the last column.

If your measurement falls between two rows, take the larger size.

Two things worth knowing. Fingers are slightly larger at the end of the day and in warm weather, so measure then rather than first thing in the morning. And a wide band sits more snugly than a thin one. If you are between sizes on a wide ring, take the larger.

Necklace lengths

Measured as the full length of the chain, including the clasp.

Length Name Where it sits
40 cm Choker Close around the base of the neck
45 cm Princess Just below the collarbone: the most common length
50 cm Matinee At or just above the top of the neckline
55 to 60 cm Matinee / long Mid-chest
70 to 90 cm Opera / rope Below the bust; can be doubled

To check a length on yourself, hold a tape measure around your neck and let it hang where the chain would sit.

Bracelet and anklet sizes

Wrap a strip of paper around your wrist just below the wrist bone, mark the overlap, and measure it flat. Add roughly 1.5 cm for a comfortable fit, or 2 cm if you prefer a looser one.

Wrist measurement Bracelet length
14 to 15 cm 16 to 17 cm
15 to 16 cm 17 to 18 cm
16 to 17 cm 18 to 19 cm
17 to 18 cm 19 to 20 cm

Anklets: measure around the ankle just above the bone and add 2 to 3 cm.

If you are between sizes

Email support@salveri.com with the measurement you have taken and the piece you are looking at, and we will tell you which size to take. We would rather spend one email now than process a return later.

If a size does turn out to be wrong, you have 30 days to send it back. See Returns.
